VIM-Avia might go bust
25 January 2010 (16:20)
Volzhsko-Kamskoye Shipping Enterprise recently laid a claim against VIM-Avia Airlines; the plaintiff wants the defendant to be declared bankrupt. It is not clear how much money the shipping business insists on being paid; the court hearing has been scheduled for February 8, 2010, Moscow Arbitration Court’s official website states.
‘The sum in question is neither too big nor too harsh for the company; the parties are now negotiating for the debt repayment, so everything will be paid before the court hearings begin. VIM-Avia did not owe any money to Volzhsko-Kamskoye Shipping Enterprise, however; the plaintiff obtained the debts from the airline’s other creditors,’ VIM-Avia Airlines representative was quoted by Vedomosti as saying.
