8 October 2008 (08:39)

Ural Airlines launched its Special Purpose Passenger project on October 7, 2008 and now needs volunteers among their frequent fliers who would be willing to take part in the crew’s evaluation while on board. The passengers who agree to cooperate will be sent an electronic questionnaire with detailed filling instructions. The questionnaire will give the evaluators a chance to do a written assessment of the flight attendants’ performance during a particular flight. The questions are related to the quality of passenger service on board the plane, with a special section devoted to amiability and sociability level as well as the flight attendants’ appearance.

All those who take part in the project will receive 500 bonus rubles on their Wings Club member account per each application, the airline’s press officer reports. The assessment will cover all of the company’s flights in all directions and will finish on December 31, 2008.

The data thus collected will be used to find out about the best flight attendants and to make a number of managerial decisions that will result in better customer service. Those who’d like to join in the project can apply for the program via the company’s website www.uralairlines.comin the Feedback section.
