Yekaterinburg Duma Votes to Establish District Akademicheskiy

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 4, 2019. Yekaterinburg Duma voted to have the city's eighth administrative district established as District Akademicheskiy. The draft bill to this effect will now get presented to Sverdlovsk Region Legislative Assembly. The talk on the proposed initiative was given by First Vice Mayor of Yekaterinburg Alexander Kovalchik, who told the deputies that Duma could consider the decree on setting up the district and vote for the draft bill on the 8th district in Yekaterinburg within a single bill package. Sverdlovsk Region's residents have around RUB 100bn in unpaid debts; some RUB 35bn have been collected by court officers for banks and other lending institutions this year. MMK Allocates RUB 8m to Chess Literacy Project

EVRAZ ZSMK Ships 5,000,000 kg of Rails to Brazil Railways

The first industrial-scale batch of 600 and 136RE rails was made from a unique grade at steel EVRAZ West Siberian Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ ZSMK) Rail & Beam Department for customers in Brazil, EVRAZ Holding Siberia's Corporate Communications Center reports. 5,000,000 kg of rails made from G2HH steel (Brinnell hardness number: 400-440) got sent to the Brazilian company Rumo ALL. The steel-smelting patent for this type of steel belongs to EVRAZ Pueblo. 'G2HH steel is different from the traditional steel grades in that it contains less
