UMMC Agro Buys Unsafe Milk

Experts from Sverdlovsk Region division of Rosselkhoznadzor (the state agricultural safety watchdog) inspected the milk-processing plant UMMC Agro in Verkhnyaya Pyshma and detected that on May 1-8, 2011 the company bought 429,120 kg of raw milk without any accompanying veterinary certificates that could prove that the produce was safe in veterinary respect. TMK Stockholders Elect BOD

Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) reports an annual general meeting was held in Moscow on June 28, 2011. The shareholders voted for declaring the dividend of 0.85 RUR per one ordinary share with face value of 10 RUR for the year 2010; the dividends thus total to 796,948,179.90 RUR. RENOVA Group To Launch Power Station in Yekaterinburg

RENOVA Group intends to get involved in the construction of electric power-generating facilities. For one, the company plans to launch Novobogoslovskaya power station in Krasnoturinsk, Sverdlovsk Region, in 2014, to launch another power station in Nizhnyaya Tura, Sverdlovsk Region, in 2015, and to launch yet another station in Yekaterinburg’s Academic district in 2017. Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant’s Vysota 239 department has been certified in accordance with the international standard DNV recently. Ural Airlines Buys One More Airbus А320

Ural Airlines keeps renovating its fleet of vehicles. An Airbus A320 fit for 156 passengers arrived in Koltsovo Airport of Yekaterinburg last Saturday and set off for its first Yekaterinburg-Moscow flight at once. The plane will from now on be used for the summer flights. Now that one more A320 was added to the air carrier’s fleet, the company runs eighteen Airbus planes altogether (thirteen A320 makes and five A321 models). The new aircraft is the fourth one Ural Airlines has bought in the year 2011, the carrier’s press service reports.

METCOMBANK To Launch 5bn RUR Bond Issue

METCOMBANK Board of Directors considered and approved of the idea to launch a Series 01 and 02 bond issues worth a total of 5 billion RUR, the bank’s press service reports. A preliminary hearing was held in Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court today regarding the claim laid by the region’s public prosecution authorities on the legitimacy of purchasing a Mercedes for the needs of Sverdlovsk Region Government’s car park. Ural Airlines Starts Flying from Yekaterinburg to Samarkand

Ural Airlines recently launched scheduled flights from Yekaterinburg to Uzbekistan’s second largest city Samarkand. The company’s press service reports that the flights will be operated on a weekly basis, namely, every Friday.
