Ural Airlines sells tickets online
28 July 2008 (08:29)
Ural Airlines stated selling e-tickets for all of its international flights that take off in Yekaterinburg via the company’s official website www.uralairlines.com.
‘Before the service became available online, the purchase of e-tickets had to be handled through the booking offices, but now one can book and buy an electronic ticket without even setting foot outside one’s house. This certainly saves you a lot of time,’ the carrier’s press officer reports.
Payments can be made with the help of Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard, DINERS CLUB, and JCB cards or using YandexMoney, WebMoney, E-port, or Credit Pilot.
A customer who buys the e-ticket online can have the cashier’s receipt mailed to them in case they need it for reimbursement. After the order has been placed, a printable version of their travel receipt with data on the flight and their air service contract are available. People who go away on business and need to have their expenses reimbursed must keep their boarding cards and the travel receipt, as these are used as financial evidence according to the Ministry of Finance’s decision 03-03-06/4/99 as of July 17, 2007.
The airline’s experts are already working on making online purchase of e-tickets available for all of the company’s flights that take off in Yekaterinburg.
Ural Airlines first introduced the e-ticketing technologies in the fall of 2007, while the first e-tickets could be bought in June 2008. Besides, the company also adheres to the interline agreements regarding e-tickets with Hahn Air, Austrian Airlines, and Finn Air
