MOTIV’s network goes up 12.6% since September 2007

MOTIV, one of Sverdlovsk Region’s leading mobile operators, is currently operating in 510 cities and towns within the region, while the number only came to 453 as recently as six months ago; so, the company’s network has grown by 12.6% since September 2007.


Most of the newly covered towns (twenty-three places) are located in the east of Sverdlovsk Region, particularly in Pyshminskiy and Talitskiy districts; the rest of the towns and villages are situated in the north-east of the region (Irbitskiy, Slobodo-Turinskiy, and Tavdinskiy districts), in the north (Verkhoturskiy, Gornouralskiy, Ivdelskiy, Karpinskiy, Kachkanarskiy, Krasnoturinskiy, Krasnouralskiy, Kushvinskiy, and Serov districts), and in the south-west (Krasnoufimskiy, Nizhneserginskiy, and Pervouralskiy districts). Moreover, MOTIV is now available in seven new villages and settlements in the vicinity of Nizhniy Tagil and in Uralskiy, Beloyarskiy district, the operator’s press officer reports.


Apart from expanding, the company has also been working on the existing system’s improvements. Thanks to the recent upgrading, the quality of MOTIV GSM connection was made better in ten places in the east of Sverdlovsk Region, including Asbest, Bogdanovitch, and Zarechniy, as well as in Kamensk-Uralskiy and its suburbs, in eight villages and towns in the vicinity of Nizhniy Tagil (including Alapaevsk, Artemovskiy, Kirovgrad, Nizhniy Tagil itself, and Rezh), and in ten towns in the north of the region (including Ivdel, Kushva, and Serov). In addition, the quality of connection was improved in Yekaterinburg, Berezovskiy, Novouralsk, Sagra, Krasnoufimsk, Polevskoy, and Sysert.
