Sberbank’s Ural branch issues 2,000,000th card

The number of plastic cards issued by Sberbank of Russia’s Ural branch reached 2,000,000 in September 2007. The ‘anniversary’ bank card was given to Sergey Chukavin, an Ufa Engine-Building Production Association employee from the capital of Bashkortostan. Mr. Chukavin was presented with the card and a holiday trip for two in the course of the awarding ceremony on September 6, 2007.
Sberbank has so far issued 595,000 bank cards in the Republic of Bashkortostan, 716,000 cards in Sverdlovsk Region, 612,900 cards in Chelyabinsk Region, and 122,500 cards in Kurgan Region, the bank’s press officer reports.
