Sverdlovsk Energogas company to take part in tender for guaranteeing suppliers

‘Sverdlovsk Energogas Company is planning to take part in a tender for guaranteeing power suppliers. There will be three lots available: the Northern Zone (covering the towns of Serov, Nizhniy Tagil, and some others), the Southern Zone (the power network around Talitsa), and the city of Yekaterinburg. The company is going to apply for all the lots,’ Sverdlovsk Energogas Company’s General Director Andrei Travkin announced at a press conference on July 9, 2007.
'There are seven guaranteeing power suppliers in Sverdlovsk Region at the moment. The rules of the tender state that any legal entity is eligible to apply, so we are not sure yet just how many enterprises are going to take part in the tender this year. The winner will definitely get a chance to raise their sales and build up on stock,’ Mr. Travkin said.
