URSA Bank to support European Bank for Reconstruction and Development forum in Kazan

URSA Bank is going to be one of the major supporters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development forum in Kazan scheduled for May 20-21, 2007. The agenda of the upcoming forum provides for a wide range of events, including the opening discussion session devoted to the region’s future developmental strategy and the bank’s activity and its importance to global economy. Then, the participating countries will make presentations on the newest investment opportunities within countries where the bank is operating and provide for top executive meetings. There should also be plentiful networking opportunities as well as a chance for the attendants to share their experience: a group of Western and Eastern Europe’s leading economic experts and some of the bank’s representatives are expected to speak on the trends and challenges within Russian economic development and to assess the major risk factors as well as provide advice on how to deal with them. They will also present a report on the ways of local market risks management, with emphasis laid on inter-bank market and secondary market development.
The traditional ‘thematic report by Jacques de La Rosière, to be presented by director of the State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovskiy, is expected to become the highlight of the forum, to be followed by a closing reception.
