Ural Airlines assessed their success in nine months of 2006; overall, the results look better than in January-September 2005. Thus, the passenger turnover went up by 13% and came to 2,106,361,000 passenger-kilometers. The carrier has serviced 803,213 people since the beginning of the year, which exceeds the figures for the nine months of 2005 by 13%. This figure includes 466,308 passengers on domestic flights (13% more than in January-September 2005), 55,638 passengers flying to the countries of the NIS (14% more than in January-September 2005), 69,708 people using regular international flights (11% more than in January-September 2005), and 211,559 passengers on charter flights (12% more than in January-September 2005).

The company performed 7,727 flights in January-September 2006, which is 14% more than a year earlier, including 5,079 domestic flights, 695 flights bound for the countries of the NIS, 958 international charter flights and 921 regular international flights; this signifies a 6% to 28% growth compared to one year earlier.

On average, 74% of seats have been occupied since the beginning of the year, which is 2.8% more than in 2005. The commercial freight coefficient came to 68.5%, which is 2.2% better than in 2005. Besides, Ural Airlines have transported 3,683 tons of cargo and 258 tons of mail since the beginning of the year, reports the spokesperson for the carrier.
