Mechel JSC decreases metallurgical output in 2005

Mechel JSC decreased its metallurgical output in 2005 (compared to 2004): the steel production went down by 5% (down to 5,899,000 tons), the iron production by 14% (down to 3,349,000 tons), the rolled metal production by 2% (down to 4,600,000 tons), coke output by 12% (down to 2,589,000 tons), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
