Trubnaya Metallurgicheskaya Kompaniya JSC acquires 100% share holding of Sinara Handel GmbH authorized capital

Trubnaya Metallurgicheskaya Kompaniya JSC has completed acquisition of 100% share holding of Sinara Handel GmbH authorized capital. According to the company’s PR-department, the acquisition was a part of the corporate business development strategy.
Sinara Handel GmbH owns controlling stocks of two Romanian companies, namely, SC ARTROM SA (a tube-maker of Slatina) and SC C.S.R. SA (a metallurgical works of Resita).
ARTROM SA specializes in production of seamless pipes for machine-building productions. Its maximal productive capacity is 110,000 tons of tubes. At the moment, the ARTROM SA is installing a new rolling mill to double the company’s seamless pipes output. The mill is expected to start its operations by the end of 2006.
The productions of SC C.S.R. SA include electric furnace steelmaking and metal rolling that are capable of producing 500,000 and 700,000 tons of metal, respectively.
