Unification of Tyumen and Chelyabinsk generating companies shares to be completed by the end of the year, claims TGK-10 GD Andrey Shishkin

‘We have already performed the first stage of the power engineering reform that had to do with departmentalizing AO-Energo according to types of tasks done, that is, energy production, distribution and sales. Besides, after the interregional integration took place on December 1, 2005, TGK-10 became the exclusive executive setting for Generating Companies of Chelyabinsk and Tyumen,’ TGK-10 GD Andrey Shishkin said at the press conference devoted to heat supply issues in Chelyabinsk.

According to Mr Shishkin, the second stage presupposes the unification of the two companies’ shares and transferring to a unified single stock. ‘We’ve already signed the agreement with the bank which is now working on the papers needed for the valuation of stock, so the both generating companies will soon be united under the auspices of TGK-10. This should have been completed by the end of 2006,’ Mr Shishkin said.
