UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 6, 2020. The adjustage department at EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK) supported Kindergarten 2 in Petrokamenskoye, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.

‘Workers from the department built two new verandas instead of the old ones, set up a pram storage room, repaired the central entry porch, fixed the electric oven in the kitchen, and installed new doors at the emergency exit. They also purchased a dozen new plastic-framed windows with support from Sverdlovsk Region Legislative Assembly deputies Vladimir Radayev and Alexei Kushnarev,’ the company says.

‘I’d like to thank our team for their personal involvement. Nearly every employee in the department offered to help; the workers purchased the building materials and spent their weekends doing repairs and remodeling at the kindergarten,’ says EVRAZ NTMK adjustage department’s head Dmitri Betsgold.

The symbolic ‘relay race baton’ was handed over to the heavy section department during the meeting at the Manning Director’s office.

EVRAZ NTMK introduced a Good Deed Relay Race three years ago; eleven departments have contributed to the initiative already.
