SKB-Bank: QR Code Payments Available at Wildberries Shop

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 14, 2019. SKB-Bank’s customers can now pay for their shopping using QR codes; the bank believes this payment method will prove very popular with customers.
Now the online retail store Wildberries is one of the first Internet shopping outlets to introduce QR code payments. Customers of four Russian banks (including SKB-Bank) can now use this payment method there.
According to the bank’s press service, you have to select QR code as the payment method when placing your order on the site and then scan the code using a smartphone app. Wildberries also intend to offer a 10% cashback bonus for those who prefer the new payment option.
Next, the Faster Payments System (FPS) will become available both on Wildberries App and at every pickup station (5,000 points altogether).
Now the dynamic QR code-enabled FPS payments were first processed in Russia through SKB-Bank’s and Promsvyazbank’s mobile apps in September 2019.
