23 September 2019 (09:15)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 23, 2019. Over 50% of the Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development’s loans now get processed online, the bank’s press service reports.

In the first half of the year, 21,000 consumer loans and credit cards got issued after a customer applied for the product online; this amounted to 57% of all the lending segment sales within the bank.

‘Interestingly enough, nearly a half (46%) of all the online sales in the lending segment get generated through our e-banking service and mobile app, 23% come in from the bank’s website, and 17% stem from lead generation. Our most proactive credit card and loan applicants are based in Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Nizhniy Tagil, Kirov, Ufa, Novosibirsk, and Perm,’ the bank says.

Before the end of the year, the UBRD is also going to launch a new online lending option: to apply for a loan, a customer will be able to verify their identity on the bank’s website by signing in with their Gosuslugi ID. According to the bank, this will make the authentication process easier and will speed up both the credit score calculation and the issuing out of the money.
