UrBC, Magnitogorsk, September 12, 2019. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) keeps investing in robotic process automation, the company’s Information & PR Department reports.
MMK Group’s member enterprise OOO MMK-InformService signed a general partnership agreement with UiPath, the global RPA platform-developing leader.
According to the company representatives, this partnership is meant to enhance MMK’s RPA efficiency through cutting down on software costs and to let MMK benefit from the RPA-related expertise of both UiPath and its partners: Deloitte, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, and others.
‘The RPA & Innovations Center got set up at OOO MMK-InformService in July 2018 to coordinate all the efforts in the field. Dozens of software robots are already performing successfully within MMK Group,’ the company says.
According to OOO MMK-InformService Director Vadim Feoktistov, the global RPA experience has shown this to be a hilly efficiency mechanism for digital business transformation (which is, in fact, the core of MMK’s Industry 4.0 Strategic Initiative).
UiPath is a reputed leading supplier on the RPA solutions market, with over 2,500 employees working at the company’s 53 offices in 20 different countries (including Russia, the United States, India, China, Japan, Germany, France, and Great Britain).
