UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 1, 2019. More than three million of Sverdlovsk Region’s capital construction facilities (CCFs) got preliminary cadastral appraisals, Sverdlovsk Region Government’s website states.

‘Before the end of the year, local estate owners will be able to check (and appeal against) the Land Registry Center’s appraisals; the appraisals are part of the nationwide switch to imputing property taxes based on a piece of estate’s cadastral value,’ the website says.

The property tax regulations will change on January 1, 2020. Taxes will be imputed based on the property’s cadastral value rather than its assessed value. Next year, local owners will get notified of the amount of property tax they would have to pay in 2021.

For the preliminary appraisal figures, you can visit the website of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr); you’ll need to enter your property’s cadastral number in order to obtain the information you require.
