Russia: Gas Prices Up 17.5% in May

UrBC, Moscow, June 20, 2019. Manufacturer’s price of gasoline rose by 17.5% on the Russian market in May 2019 compared with April 2019, Rosstat reports.
‘As for the processing industries, certain mineral products grew more expensive as well, including stabilized gas condensate (+18%), gasoline (+17.5%), certain types of oil-associated gases (+11.8%), liquefied propane and butane (+8.4%), bitumen (+5.7%), petroleum coke (+5%), road bitumen (+4.5%), and roofing bitumen (+3.7%),’ the agency says.
According to Rosstat, the price of crude oil increased by 4.5% last month. In the coke and petroleum-based produce manufacturing sector, manufacturer’s prices rose by 7.9% in May 2019 compared with April 2019, rose by 3.6% compared with May 2018, and dropped by 5.3% compared with December 2018.
