Ural Airlines Win Russia’s Best Social Projects 2019 Award

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 29, 2019. Ural Airlines won Russia’s Best Social Projects award in Charity this year; the company representatives received the trophy figurine and a certificate in the course of a solemn ceremony, the air carrier’s press service reports.

The company got awarded for its joint project with the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation, where the focus was on increasing the passengers’ awareness of the easy ways to help critically ill children, and on the importance of charity in general.

‘A portion of every Premium Economy ticket’s cost got paid towards the treatment and rehabilitation of the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation’s patients. This means every passenger donated a little to the children when making a payment. More than two million rubles thus got donated by the airline’s passengers in six months. The money got directed to support, treatment, and rehabilitation of the young patients,’ the airline says.

This is, in fact, the second time Ural Airlines have been awarded for the work the company does with the the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation and Rusfond.
