2 November 2018 (09:20)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 2, 2018. Europe’s and Asia’s leading architects are going to discuss renovation projects at 100+ Forum Russia in Yekaterinburg, the forum coordinators report.

‘The 5th International High-Rise Construction 100+ Forum Russia invited globally acknowledged experts to present their renovation projects for today’s metropolises. The architects will try to answer the critical question of how to keep the place’s original historic look while complementing its urban environment with the new infrastructure the growing cities need to develop,’ the announcement goes.

The section on Metropolis Renovation will feature presentations on the European and Asian experience with urban renovations, layout and function-distribution solutions for redeveloped facilities, making these facilities attractive to both investors and locals, and Moscow renovation programs.

For one, qualified urban developer and designer behind new construction projects in Shanghai’s central locations Joost Van Den Hoek (Netherlands) and architect and project team manager in charge of renovating Helsinki’s living quarter Jätkäsaari (21,000 residents and 6,000 jobs in place of an old cargo port) Matti Kaijansinkko (Finland) are going to give their talks.
