Sverdlovsk Region: Number of New Credit Cards Doubles

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 27, 2018. Sverdlovsk Region came fifth in the rating of forty Russian constituencies in terms of the number of newly issued credit cards, the National Credit History Bureau reports.
Sverdlovsk Region’s number of newly issued credit cards came to 61,784 in the first quarter of the year, which is 81.8% more than one year previously (33,900 cards).
In Russia on the whole, the increase was most pronounced in Orenburg Region (+126.2%), Tula Region (+115.6%), Bashkortostan (+112.7%), Saratov Region (+110.3%), Volgograd Region (+99.6%), and Yaroslavl Region (+97.4%). As for Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the number of newly issued credit cards increased by 58.5% and 58.8%, respectively, in the first quarter of 2018.
