26 March 2018 (10:03)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 26, 2018. Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo Airport (a member of Regional Airports Group) switches to spring/summer flight schedule on March 25, the company press service reports.
Flights to over a hundred destinations, including some fifty international ones, are currently operated from Yekaterinburg. These flights are offered by forty-six different air carriers.
The new timetable is special in that more flights are now offered in popular directions both within Russia and internationally. There will be more domestic flights bound for the Black Sea resorts, with up to five flights a day to Sochi and up to two flights a day to Anapa. Additional flights will also be available for travelers going to Samara, Kazan, Ufa, Novy Urengoy, and other Russian cities.
Turkey is going to be this summer’s key tourist destination. As many as ten air carriers will be operating flights to Turkey (Antalya, Istanbul, Dalaman, and Gazipaşa) from Koltsovo Airport, up to six flights a day all in all. It’s also worth noting that there will be direct flights to four Italian cities (Rome, Bologna, Catania, and Rimini) as well. Additionally, all the more popular tourist destinations are still there: Cyprus, Greece, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Spain, Czechia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Georgia, Armenia, Israel, Thailand, and many other countries are still reachable.
