Ural Airlines Launch Krasnoyarsk-Yekaterinburg Flight
17 October 2017 (13:31)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 17, 2017. Ural Airlines are launching their new flight from Krasnoyarsk to Yekaterinburg and back, the air carrier’s press service reports.
The scheduled flights will be operated every Wednesday and Friday (to Yekaterinburg) and every Monday and Wednesday (to Krasnoyarsk) between October 30, 2017 and March 21, 2018. Prices start from 4,000 RUR and are already on offer.
The new flight is a great opportunity to enjoy the convenient connecting flights from Yekaterinburg to other locations in Russia and the CIS: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, Yerevan, and Tbilisi.
‘If you decide to stay in Yekaterinburg for a few days, you’ll find it’s definitely worth it. The city is a true gem in the heart of the Ural Mountains, the home of gold mines and stonecutting industry right where Europe and Asia come together. Yekaterinburg is colloquially known as the Urals’ capital, the capital of Russian rock music, and Russia’s ‘third capital’. The city hosts quite a few national and international business and cultural events and is famous both for one of the largest Orthodox temples (Cathedral-on-Blood) and for the unique Shigirsky Idol from the pagan times (the world’s oldest wooden sculpture). You can see find interesting artifacts not only at the local museums but even in Yekaterinburg Underground, where Geologicheskaya Station is decorated with semi-precious stones. The Urals, with their mast-high pine trees growing right on the rocky hills, their wildlife sanctuaries with caves and alien landscapes in place of old clay mines, are an experience not to be missed,’ the press service says.
