UrBC, Moscow, June 7, 2017. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) is launching a series of entertainment workshops for children living in foster homes and giving out some gifts this June in celebration of International Children’s Day, the bank’s press service reports.
The bank’s Children Believe in Miracles Program covers a children’s play where the main character presents different professions and talks about why finding the job you love is so important. UBRD PR Director Elina Kuschenko says the children will also be given custom-made coloring books created with the help of kids supported by the Solnechnye Deti Organization.
‘The story of a unicorn in search of self-fulfillment was drawn by children with Down syndrome. Nine young artists contributed to the project altogether. Every page in the coloring book is unique, with children portraying their vision of the story in it,’ Kuschenko says.
The first set of coloring books was given out to children in Osobiy Rebenok Organization on June 1, International Children’s Day.
