2 May 2017 (09:44)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 2, 2017. Thumbelina will be performed on ice at Yekaterinburg’s Greenwich Mall on Friday, April 28. This is part of the annual Sale Night, Malyshev 73 Society’s press service reports.
Professional ice-skaters are going to act out some fragments from Thumbelina.
‘To provide an interesting and unusual show for the event, we invited actors from Voskresenye Ice Theater to deliver a performance on the 20-m2 ice arena that visitors with children will enjoy watching,’ the press service says.
The Sale Night’s program also covers a performance by Neizvestnye, a roller-skating duet who will both do an extreme sports number and invite everyone to join in an interactive performance.
A comedy duet and other circus professionals will also be present at the mall.
The science-themed Newton Amusement Park will be featuring its Violent Reaction show with carbon-dioxide ice, an ‘H-bomb explosion', a foam made from nothing, cryotransfer freezing, and much else besides.
Finally, there will be the usual prize-drawing and money-back options for all the shoppers who spend 5,000 RUR or more at the mall on the night of the event. The prize fund comes to 200,000 RUR.
