UBRD Keeps Companies’ Credit Histories
3 April 2017 (14:13)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 3, 2017. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development and the National Credit History Bureau can now produce their business customers’ credit history records right at the bank’s branches, the bank’s press service reports.
‘SMEs are gradually developing a different approach to bank financing. Businesses come up with a carefully prepared application package and check their credit history prior to applying for a loan. Even a small delayed payment somewhere in the remote past might cause a company to lose the funding it needs for growth,’ says UBRD Corporates Development Director Yelena Sorvina.
A company’s credit history is information on its past and current loan obligations, on loan repayment, and on what other companies have asked to see this credit history in the past. Both the bank’s existing and potential customers can ask for a credit history by submitting a set of papers, including copies of the company’s charter, a tax reference number certificate, and a main state registration number certificate.
