Sverdlovsk Region: 23 Employers Owe Workers 137m RUR
3 August 2016 (13:06)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 3, 2016. There are currently twenty-three companies on Sverdlovsk Region State Labor Inspectorate’s list that owe their employees 137 RUR worth of unpaid salaries and wages, head of inspectorate Fedor Kravtsov said at a press conference in Yekaterinburg.
There were thirty-three such companies on the list as recently as January 1, with twenty-seven more businesses detected throughout the first half of the year.
Thirty-eight businesses paid the workers everything that was their due in January-June 2016 (208.4m RUR in total). Also, thirteen companies paid out a portion of salaries and wages (over 9m RUR all in all).
As it happens, the list doesn’t feature employers that failed to pay or delayed paying their workers only once. Nor does it include any companies that pay their employees under the table, since the latter have no chance of proving anything to the authorities.
