UrBC, Moscow, March 3, 2016. 500,000 people risk losing their jobs in Russia, while 301,000 more are currently working part-time, Finmarket refers to Labor & Social Welfare Minister Maxim Topilin as saying.

Topilin says as many as 1.7m people were working part-time in the crisis of 2009.

‘We are worried about these 300,000 working part-time: despite all the state support to struggling businesses, car factories first and foremost, 20% of these workers (some 70,000 people) are the ones employed precisely in the automobile industry,’ the minister says.
