UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 25, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation opened one of its UVZSHOPs at the domestic flights terminal in Balandino Airport, Chelyabinsk, the company press service reports.
‘The opening of a new shop in Chelyabinsk is no ordinary event. This is the second time our shop has been introduced at an airport (the outlet at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg has been around for eighteen months now). We are moving to the Urals’ south, presenting our entire product range there. Prices are the same as in all other UVZSHOPs (there are five altogether – two in Nizhniy Tagil, two in Yekaterinburg, and one in Chelyabinsk),’ says UVZ Media Service Director Anton Shtin.
Shtin says the opening took place on the eve of February 23 (national holiday) so that passengers departing from Balandino could buy souvenirs to remind them of Chelyabinsk or presents for their friends.
The boutique has all the branded souvenirs and clothes, footwear, bags and the like bearing Ural Vagon Zavod logo. For one, there are twenty T-shirts featuring the company logo and combat vehicles the corporation makes, as well as windbreakers, parkas, vests, jumpers, baseball caps, and hats, large-size models of armored vehicles (including the T90 and Armata tanks), sports and travel bags, laptop cases, magnets, key chains, notepads, pens, books, and DVDs (including the ones on the history of tank-making).
