Average pay in Sverdlovsk Region is below country‘s average

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 8, 2015. The average monthly pay came to 32,600 RUR in Sverdlovsk Region in the first half of 2015, which, as it turns out, is nearly 3,000 RUR below the country's average, Rosstat reports via the agency website.

The statistics agency‘s findings indicate that the average monthly pay in Russia stood at 35,400 RUR in the first half of 2015.

The figure for Ural Federal District was 41,300 RUR, with the highest salaries and wages paid in Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region (79,000 RUR a month on average), Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region (65,000 RUR), and Tyumen Region (38,000 RUR). Sverdlovsk Region came fourth on this list.

Kurgan Region turned out to have the lowest average pay of 22,500 RUR a month as of late June 2015.
