UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July13, 2015. Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev visited the stand of Pipe Metallurgical Company/TMK at Innoprom 2015, an international industrial forum/exhibition, the company press service reports.

TMK Chairman of the BOD Dmitri Pumpyanski informed the Prime Minister of the company’s import outrunning concept, which means TMK is trying to be the first to design and produce the new products for Russian enterprises.

For one, Medvedev was shown some new pipe strings made of casing and compression pipes and TMK UP premium threaded joints.

‘These were designed by TMK experts in accordance with the requirements set forth by our customers; the pipe strings are meant for the development of Gazprom’s more challenging deposits on- and off-shore: Chayandinskoye, Kovyktinskoye, and Yuzhno-Kirinskoye,’ the press service says.

Dmitri Pumpyanski also presented to Dmitri Medvedev another new product: GreenWell, a lubricant-free coating for threaded joints.
