Alexander Yakob: Yekaterinburg proves investment-attractive

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 8, 2015. Yekaterinburg is becoming increasingly appealing to investors, head of the city administration Alexander Yakob said at Channel 41-Domashniy’s Open Studio. Yekaterinburg show.
Yakob explained the city kept making it to the top of most Russian and international ratings over the last few years.
‘The Higher School of Economics assigned Yekaterinburg the first place in its human potential rating at Moscow International Urban Forum this winter. Moreover, Forbes, Opora Rossiyi, and RBC normally rate the city very high. Additionally, Yekaterinburg was one of the four Russian cities to get on the world’s 1000 cities with the highest development potential list,’ he said.
The official said the Innopron Exhibition was among the key success factors in this.
‘This is a very important exhibition that brings into the limelight not only Sverdlovsk Region-based enterprises but also those located in other parts of the Urals and of Russia on the whole as well as international enterprises. People’s Republic of China acts as the exhibition’s general partner this year, so over 2,000 Chinese delegations are coming to join the event,’ Yakob said.
