April 27, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s UVZSHOP.ru now sells DVDs with videos dedicated to combat vehicles made at the corporation’s head plant both at all of its outlets and online. Now all those interested in documentaries and indie films about Russian armored vehicles can buy movies such as T34, the Victory Weapon and Tanks: The Ural Nature.

‘Both films are a story of how Uralvagonzavod’s famous combat vehicles were created and what challenges their creators had to overcome. T34, the Victory Weapon also tells the viewers about the theory behind the unique T34 and about how all the later tanks made at the plant were inspired by and kept promoting this theory as well,’ the corporation’s press service says.

The shooting of Tanks: The Ural Nature, Dmitri Rogozin’s project, took place at Uralvagonzavod departments and at Plant 9 (one of the corporation’s member enterprises). Executives, long-service employees, and current workers of Uralvagonzavod, Plant 9, and Ural Transport Machine-Building Design Office share their stories of how the legendary tanks (ranging from T34 to Terminator 2 to Armata) were developed.

‘These movies are going to make a perfect present for the 70th V-Day anniversary. As it happens, UVZSHOP.ru offers discounts of up to 50% on all of its produce. The offer is good through May 10,’ the press service says.
