December 12, 2014. Australian model maker Philip Govenlock asked the management of ChTZ Uraltrac (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) for photographs and sketches of T 800, the biggest tractor ever produced at the plant.

According to Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service, he says he needs the precise images of this gigantic vehicle under different angles in order to re-create a large-size model of the bulldozer (which will still be 16 times smaller than the original).

‘This T 800 didn’t really enjoy much popularity with Russian small model makers. Yet this is a famous vehicle that made it to the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest tractor with an 820-horsepower engine whose measurements compare with those of a two-storey house. Its working mass comes to 106,000 kg. The mere fact that this tractor was created in the South Urals makes locals proud,’ the press service says.

ChTZ Uraltrac now has one fully assembled T 800. The bulldozer takes part in exhibitions and presentations and is in perfect working order, so it won’t be in the least difficult to supply the Australian model maker with photographs of the vehicle.
