November 13, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation came up with a strategy for the its scientific and technological development in 2014-2017, the corporation’s press service says.

The strategy is targeted at an increase in production efficiency, improvements in the produce quality, and further socioeconomic development.

The company intends to master new, hi tech products with new technologies that will ensure cost-cutting while keeping the customer appeal of the produce intact. The corporation will keep using more of its production facilities’ capacity and investing in equipment upgrades. The products’ competitive advantages will be singled out and intensified. Also, meeting customers’ demands will remain one of the company’s top priorities.

The production processes are thus expected to grow 5% more efficient in the next three years due to introduction of new management tools that proved efficient at the Russian and foreign enterprises in this industrial sector.

Uralvagonzavod plans to assess the results of launching new technologies and product types every quarter in 2014-2017.
