October 7, 2014. Yekaterinburg Leninsky District Court rejected the appeal for an earlier reopening of McDonald’s restaurant in Vosmoye Marta St, Sverdlovsk Region Court’s press service told UrBC.
‘The application for an early termination of the administrative penalty was turned down because the company had not managed to eliminate all the violations detected by Rospotrebnadzor,’ the press service says. It was explained that McDonald’s still had the option of challenging the court’s ruling.
Following the orders of Rospotrebnadzor (the state consumer rights watchdog), Yekaterinburg Leninsky District Court put an eighty-five-day operating ban on McDonald’s restaurant in Vosmoye Marta St on August 25. The fast food chain directed an appeal to Sverdlovsk Region Court, but this court dismissed the appeal on September 15.
