Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant updates list of shareholders

September 17, 2014. The list of Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant (KULZ, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) has recently been updated, the corporation’s press service says.

‘This is important for those shareholders who are now registered under a different address or had a name change and also in cases when the holding was sold to a new owner. Under the existing legislation, it is the shareholder’s duty to make sure the documents stating their right to certain securities are issued properly: otherwise it is impossible to get any dividends,’ the company says.

To get the list updated, the shareholders need to travel to Yekaterinburg, where a subsidiary of Professional Registration Center is located. To make the procedure easier for its shareholders (given especially the fact that there are quite a few elderly people among them), the plant arranged for the registering clerks to come to Kamensk-Uralsky. Some forty shareholders of the plant’s stock gathered at the company assembly hall on the designated date; they were invited by the HR Department’s Corporatization Bureau; the bureau had also informed all the attendees in advance about the rules and regulations of entering changes in the database.

The need to update the shareholders’ database grew particularly acute in 2014, since the new law states the dividends must be paid to shareholders via postal bank transfers and not at the plant’s cash desk as before, alternatively, money can be transferred into the shareholder’s bank account if they apply for this.
