November 21, 2013. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation was awarded a diploma in the Service to the Fatherland category for its active support of the social projects of the Civil Society Institutions Development Fund in Volga Federal District, the corporation’s press service says.

One of the main things the Fund does is the practical implementation of the Russian President’s decrees on improvements in the government policy aimed at promoting patriotism. KaDetstvo, a project that is now being implemented in Volga Federal District at the initiative of Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President Mikhail Babich in cooperation with the Russian Defense Ministry, the Internal Affairs Ministry, and the Ministry of Emergencies, is an important part of bringing the younger generation up as true patriots with strong moral principles and a healthy lifestyle; this project also lays a foundation for the conscientious service to the Fatherland in the future.

KaDetstvois aimed at the setting up of modern, technically advanced Cadet Corps with over 1,300 students from all parts of Volga Federal District. The project involves four schools, including F.Kuzmin Perm Cadet Corps of Volga Federal District. Uralvagonzavod acts as a sponsor for Perm Cadet Corps in terms of infrastructure development and creating the best conditions for the students.
