October 17, 2013. Ural Airlines keeps expanding its destinations network around the CIS and is now launching a new, direct flight from Ufa to Yerevan. On November 8, 2013, the first flight to the Armenian capital will be operated from Ufa. The new scheduled flight will be offered every fortnight, on Fridays, the air carrier's press service reports.

'Yerevan is not only the capital of Armenia but also a city of 'eternal holiday' where people can take their rime strolling in the streets, among parks and gardens. For those who want to go mountain skiing but does not have a visa, the ski resort Tsakhkadzor near Yerevan is just the right place to go to. The place is located in the picturesque valley of the River Marmarik; the resort is perfect for both active and relaxed vacations. After looking at all the landmarks (splendid museums, squares, sculptures, and so on) visitors should definitely drop in at a local restaurant and order the specialty of the place: kebab and the noble Armenian cognac,' the company says.

Ural Airlines also operate flights to Yerevan from Yekaterinburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, and Saint Petersburg via the comfortable Airbus liners that have both the economy and the business class sections.
