September 27, 2013. Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev and Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev looked at the exhibits at the 9th International Arms Exhibition Russia Arms Expo 2013 at Staratel range in Nihzniy Tagil.

The Governor of Sverdlovsk Region's Information Policies Department reports the Prime Minister was also accompanied by Vice Premier Dmitri Rogozin, Russia's Industry & Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Mayor of Nizhniy Tagil Sergey Nosov, and Director-General of Uralvagonzavod Oleg Sienko.

The Prime Minister started his tour of the place from Sverdlovsk Region's stand, where the Mid-Urals' basic socioeconomic indicators, the defense industry's potential, and the most important projects (the World Cup 2018, Yekaterinburg's applying for EXPO 2020, the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone, and Universitetsky Hi Tech Park) were presented.

Renault Trucks Defense, which presented a whole range of armored vehicles at RAE, placed its own big stand next to Sverdlovsk Region's one. Renault Trucks Defense featured its Acmat Patsas at the exhibition, among other things. Dmitri Medvedev could also get acquainted with a joint development by Renault and Uralvagonzavod – the armored vehicle called Atom.
