September 3, 2013. Ural Airlines is launching a ticket sale on flights operated from Moscow to one of Germany’s oldest cities, Cologne. Throughout September, round trip tickets from Moscow to Cologne and back are available for ?130, including all the fees. The special price is offered on flights operated between October 1 and December 15, 2013, the airline’s press service reports.

‘If you travel to Cologne in November, you can actually witness a very interesting phenomenon: at 11:11 AM on November 11, the 5th season is officially announced in Cologne, just like in the rest of Germany. This is the carnival season, so on this day you can see people in fancy dresses for the first time during the season. Most of the festivities, however, take place in February,’ Ural Airlines report.

‘Ural Airlines take passengers to Cologne three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, via the comfortable European Airbus liners fitted with both the economy and the business class sections. Starting February 16, 2014, an additional Moscow-Cologne flight will be operated on Sundays as well. Thanks to the convenient stopovers at Domodedovo Airport, one can use connecting flights to get to Cologne from Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don, Chita, Ulan-Ude, and other Russian cities.
