July 29, 2013. Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, a member of ChTPZ Group) company museum celebrated its 40th anniversary recently. The museum is Pervouralsk's largest historic and cultural center and one of the most available and fullest sources of information about the history of the plant and the most remarkable workers and Pervouralsk residents, the enterprise's press service reports.
'This is not a coincidence that the museum offers data on both workers and residents: the city was developing alongside with the plant. This is why not only the plant's top management, blue-collar workers, and long-service employees took part in the anniversary celebrations but also the representatives of all of the city's major organizations, employees of other museums, and the representatives of the local creative class. The anniversary was celebrated with presents and good wishes,' the company's press release says.
The guests could also enjoy a theme exhibition called the Museum Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow. The plant employees, in their turn, put up a touch screen information kiosk whose virtual potential can expand the museum area's borders considerably.
'Our company museum is the largest in Pervouralsk. This is a spiritual center of the working team, the museum is a full-fledged participant of all the key events in the company; this is a place where the long-service employees can meet and where the new generations of workers can enrich their experience. This is a socially important establishment open for all the local residents and visitors to the town. I would like to congratulate the museum team and all of us on this remarkable anniversary. I wish everyone ongoing development and new heights, and I wish the museum some new exhibits and new visitors,' ChTPZ Group's Director-General Yaroslav Zhdan said at the festive occasion.
