May 21, 2013. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ), which won a tender for supplying vehicles to Russia’s Ministry of Emergencies, has already shipped 2 B-12 bulldozers to the customer, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.
The customer will receive the standard, series-produced vehicles, but with larger 690-mm tracks that are suitable for performing on softer soils. What is more, the vehicles are fitted with three-shank rippers, which allows for more uses. The tractors can be employed for clearing up the debris after some man-caused accidents or natural disasters.
This is the first shipment that ChTZ has made to the Ministry of Emergencies this year.
