Building Declines by 12% in Sverdlovsk Region This January

February 28, 2013. According to Sverdlovskstat, the building jobs output went down in January 2013 compared with a year earlier.
The money value of construction jobs reached 4.9bn RUR in January, which is actually 11.9% less than in January 2012. At the same time, this figure increased by 1.4% for the country as a whole.
Still, 28,500 sq m worth of housing was commissioned in the region in January 2013, with financing supplied from all the available sources. This figure is 26.8% higher than that for January 2012. For Russia on the whole, the increase amounted to 14.7%.
