December 24, 2012. On December 17, 2012, Banki.ru’s Information & Analytics Service carried a rating of banks based on the number of people they employ and the median monthly pay in the nine months of 2012. As a result, the Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) proved the best bank among all Sverdlovsk Region-based lending institutions, the bank’s press service reports.
According to Banki.ru, the UBRD, which employs 4,220 people (as of October 1, 2012), is now 32nd largest bank among the country’s top hundred. The number of employees has actually gone up by 24.41% since the beginning of the year, as some 800 new workers were taken on.
‘This dynamic was partially due to our expanding into the new parts of Russia: in the nine months of this year, the UBRD set up 73 new branches,’ says the bank’s Corporate Development & Personnel Management Director Yuri Voronin.
As for the rating of banks based on the pay, the UBRD was given the 84th position (with the median salary at 37,060 RUR a month), which is the best result among all Sverdlovsk Region-based banks.
