Uralvagonzavod Takes Part in Defense Fair in Omsk

October 22 The 6th Interregional Scientific/Practical Conference on Innovational Technologies, Defense Systems, Science, & Education was held in Omsk. All in all, over 450 Russian and foreign companies and scientific and educational establishments took part in the event. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation was represented by Deputy DG for Special Vehicles Vyachelsav Khalitov, Director-General of Ural Transport Machine-Building Design Office Andrei Terlikov from Nizhniy Tagil, and Director-General of Transport Machine-Building Design Office from Omsk Igor Lobov.
The corporation’s press service reports the conference was coordinated by Omsk Region Government, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Armor Administration (GABTU), Combined Arms Academy of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, Military Sciences Academy, and Omsk subsidiary of the Russian Federation Military Academy of Logistical Support (VAMTO)
The three sections of the conference that took off after the plenary session in the regional ExpoCenter’s Congress Hall gave experts an opportunity to talk about some vital topics: Defense and Military Vehicles in Terrestrial Operations & Robotic Devices (Section 1), Hi Tech Production, Modernization, and Maintenance of Multi-Purpose Track-Laying and Wheeled Vehicles (Section 2), and Education as a System of Intellectual Support for Training Military Experts (Section 3).
