Nukus is the center of the Autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan (a part of Uzbekistan) and an important spot in the country’s administrative, economic, and cultural development. The city is surrounded by deserts on three sides and looks a little like an oasis. This is the home of the world-famous I.V. Savitsky State Fine Arts Museum with a vast collection of works by Russian avant-garde painters. What is more, a museum dedicated to the Karakalpak poet Berdakh, archeological sites, and the medieval Mizdahkan necropolis are also worth visiting.

In addition to this Moscow-Nukus flight, Ural Airlines also offers other flights to Uzbekistan. Passengers departing from Moscow can fly to Tashkent, Namangan, and Samarkand. Tickets for these flights will be available via the air carrier’s official website www.uralairlines.com and in the booking offices. All of Ural Airlines’ flights are operated using the modern and comfortable Airbus A320 airlines.
