15 June 2012 (10:43)
The bankruptcy proceedings involving OOO Dr. Scheller Beauty (Concern Kalina’s project) have been completed. Such was the ruling pronounced by Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court today.
Concern Kalina was the coordinator of a beauty parlor chain Dr. Scheller Beauty Center. The project was launched in 2007 and required about $650m worth of investments. About a thousand parlors were expected to operate in Russia and Europe’s major cities.
The company liquidator placed an insolvency application with the court on October 11, 2011. In November 2011, Dr. Scheller Beauty had to start undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, with Arthur Akhatov appointed as the company’s trustee in bankruptcy.
According to the files of the case, the bankruptcy proceedings are now complete. A full inventory of the debtor’s assets was made, and no assets were actually found to be present. Thus no bankruptcy assets have been established due to lack of thereof.
The creditors’ claims include a claim from one creditor amounting to 4.59bn RUR (on a third-priority basis). There are no first- or second-priority creditors involved in the case.
The creditor’s claim has not been met. As the debtor lacks the necessary assets or funds to pay off the debt, the creditors’ claims are considered redeemed.
