Apollo, CIC, Caisse des Depots, Macquarie, Goldman Sachs, Apax, Eton Park, CVCI Representatives to Visit Yekaterinburg

Russian Direct Investment Fund and Strategic Initiatives Agency are to coordinate a visit of the major international funds’ representatives to Yekaterinburg and their meeting with the regional authorities and the local business community on February 15, 2012, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s PR Department reports.
The visit is part of a regional tour organized by the two organizations in order to attract long-term foreign investments in Russia’s economy and to improve the country’s investment image one the federal and regional scale. A number of Sverdlovsk Region-based companies will be able to present their projects so that foreign investors could consider and discuss them.
Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Misharin and Sverdlovsk Region’s Minister for Investments & Development and First Deputy Head of Government Maxim Maksimov are expected to attend the meeting.
The foreign delegation comprises the representatives of the world’s largest global investors like Apollo (the United States), CIC (China), Caisse des Depots (France), Macquarie (Australia), Goldman Sachs (the U.S.), Apax (Great Britain), Eton Park (the U.S), and CVCI (the U.S.).
The funds manage over $1trillion altogether.
